*Dr. James Kanzler was recently selected as President-elect of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association.  This is a three year committment as he assumes duties of of President and past President.  The FVMA supports our state's veterinarians in the promotion of animal health and well-being, public health, regulation of veterinary practice and the advancement of veterinary medicine through continuing education.  Some travel will be required, so Dr. Kanzler will be away from the practice from time to time.

*Many of our staff ran the DeSoto Parade 5K Run before the parade on April 25.  Picutred are Chelsea, Holly, Rachel, Jessica, Jimmy White (Dr. Trice's husband), Dr. Cindy Trice, Dr. Vondrasek, and Ian Holmes (Michaela's husband).  The guys had the best race times!

*We now have a Companion Laser Therapy therapeutic laser.  Just a few safe, painless treatments can reduce inflammation and promote healing.  It has many indications, but most the most common uses are for joint pain and wound healing.  Some of our clients have told us that their dogs are like a puppies again following therapeutic laser treatment for their joints!
